The poll of likely general election voters view elected Democrats in the legislature unfavorably by 13.6%. 57% think Oregon is headed in the wrong direction and likely voters say they prefer the generic Republican candidate by 4.6%. Christine Drazan leads the gubernatorial ballot by a point.

The statewide poll, conducted by Cygnal, a nationally respected polling firm, was conducted at the same time as gubernatorial candidate Betsy Johnson’s. Attached are more results from the poll.

Much of Oregon leans Republican, but the 3 major population centers in the western part of the state -- Portland, Salem, and Eugene -- always swing Democrat.

For Oregon's sake, the red voters had better outnumber the blue voters on Election Day.

Of course, I believe Oregon has all mail-in voting, which probably means it's impossible for the Republicans to win any election unless it's by a fraud-proof margin of 5-10%.

It's not going to happen. Populated areas always determine the results in Oregon. The woke are what Portland, Salem, Eugene, and Corvallis attract.

Land doesn’t vote, people do.. lmao.

Just because you see big land masses in red doesn’t mean there are a lot of people in those counties.

Absolutely true, but it's also true that turnout among eligible voters, even in a highly contested presidential election, rarely cracks 50%. There are votes to be had everywhere. The Virginia governor's races proved that with extremely strong turnout in rural counties that overwhelmed the urban lefty vote. You also have to ask yourself, how many "normies" live in Portland and typically don't bother voting because there is no point, but might decide to this time because the left has become so extreme? Might not effect a very local race, but might a statewide race.

We shall see, we shall see. A LOT of fed up people out there right now.

Same in WA. State swings as Seattle and Bellevue do. Period. And those two are solid blue.
