DOJ does it again! So much for "law and order." Lock him up!

(The Hill) – A man who beat a Washington, D.C., police officer with a Trump flag during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol attack was sentenced to 46 months in prison on Friday.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced that Howard Richardson received the sentence after pleading guilty earlier in the year to assaulting, resisting or impeding officers.

Wish we saw the exact same sentences for the BLM rioters. But then that sort of violence was from the left, hence "mostly peaceful" and understandable.

Do we really need a new thread every time one of these defendants is sentenced?

Actually, it's viewed by the left as payback, retribution and totally defendable. But speaking up about the integrity of a highly questionable election makes you a domestic terrorist, insurrectionist, deplorable, etc, etc. Empty meaningless words are all we are left with anymore.

Yeah well anyone who commits violence should be held accountable but why not the same treatment for the BLM and Antifa fools?

Yeah Really. An Antifa fool can throw bricks at cops or a fire bomb into a cop car and they are not even arrested. We have seen losers beat up old ladies and push them in front of trains and buses and they get less time than this guy does?

I'm not saying what this guy did was right but anyone associated with the Jan6th incident have been held and treated like terrorists because it is all about politics and making a show of them . They are political prisoners. And are being held up as a lesson to everyone that might think of fighting the power. They are essentially committing a modern day gibbeting with these guys.

God, they are missing out on a golden opportunity for an object lesson. Why not a burning at the stake followed by hanging, drawing, and quartering? Allow the dismembered remains to hang in various city parks for a few months.

As someone else said, too bad we have a double standard in our "justice" system. The pantifa and BM vermin that caused over two billion dollars in damage and mayhem need to rot in prison for life.

Good. Send them all to prison. You don’t mess with the process.

....because those folks are liberal constituents and their violence advances their agenda.

And friends and neighbors.
It was in the Philly paper and definitely got interest.
I found his heartfelt remorse to the judge sincere and of human interest.
Maybe it was just a really good journalist writing the piece and bringing it to life.
It is very sad.

This is the article that was in my inbox this morning
