After the OH AG confirmed that the 10 year old qualified for a legal abortion in OH so going out of state was completely unnecessary (and unnecessarily cruel to subject the girl to that), they tried to divert everyone's attention by arresting an illegal alien for the crime. ...Squirrel!!!

Yeah, maybe the administration should have vetted this particular example of the horrors of state run abortion laws a little better.

Believe it or not, you're wrong. Republican legislators in Oklahoma voted to ban all abortions except to save the life of the mother. The governor said he would sign any pro-life bill and did. So, in Oklahoma a raped, pregnant 10-year-old girl would have to be forced to go through her pregnancy for as long as she could advance it. She could go out of state for a legal abortion, but I'm sure many Oklahoma Republicans want to make doing that a serious crime.
The Republican South Dakota governor refused to say if she thought a 10-year-old raped pregnant girl should be kept from abortion.
Maybe we both would be surprised by the significant number of Republicans who want nearly all or literally all abortions banned. It could be over 50% of them. For instance, in the primary Markwayne Mullin, a candidate for U. S. Senator in Oklahoma, indicated in a TV ad that he is 100% pro-life--NO EXCEPTIONS. He came in first in the primary with 44% of the vote, but not enough to avoid a runoff.
Furthermore, I believe that the majority of Republicans in November would far rather vote for a Republican candidate who supports all abortions being banned than vote for a pro-choice Democrat.
Well said. Some Republicans may have piety on this child- but the laws they are voting for and candidates they choosing say otherwise. In true sense the girls life may not have been affected physically. I posted a article of the same age girls delivering babies in Honduras. So it was questionable and time was ticking which was not on her side. Taking the path of less resistance was the best for the girl.
