Yes, and they referred her to IN.

How was she "not allowed to have an abortion"?
You mean this "draconian Ohio law"?
No not really, this will be an issue in all those states that ban abortion and allow no exception for rape.

It's not clear why she traveled to Indiana and her reasons are not public but it's a good guess that she was beyond 6 weeks since this was recommended by her doctor.

No. Her age was not the issue. She was past 6 weeks gestation. The OH law states:

Quote:
Abortion is banned at six weeks of pregnancy, except in cases of life endangerment or severely compromised physical health.

I suggest that you find a thread about illegal immigration and voice your objections there.

It's not clear why the mother and the Ohio doctor didn't report the rape either, especially when the Dr. was required by law to do so.

It wasn't an issue. The law allows for minors to receive an abortion as long as consent is giving by the parents, etc.

Perhaps the mother wanted it done in another state as a way to shield the rapist, who'd raped that child "multiple times". Perhaps the rapist is a family member or is the mother's boyfriend.....

There is a difference between legal immigrants and illegal aliens. Stop trying to blur the lines between the two.

Her age IS a factor, in fact it is the MOST IMPORTANT factor. She's a minor and minors are allowed to have abortions!
