yesterday's now-locked topic for some additional responses/info.

https://www.city-data.com/forum/poli...-leftists.html

this woman inserted herself as the star witness for the Dems, even interrupting a question asked directly of 2 others to go completely off-tangent and equate Roe with Voting rights.

Men don't get pregnant. TRANS-Men can though, because, well,..they are women,..lol.

We all 'recognize' Trans. No one, absolutely no one is saying they don't exist. Such dishonesty.
for whatever reason, several of my replies in the other thread got deleted. But the point remains - cracks are forming in the leftist identity politics cartel.

Abortion cannot be a "women's rights" issue yet have some fringe proclaim "and trans-men and non-binary too!"

Because to do so then introduces the immutable facts of biology, that they wish to ignore.

It is so ridiculous buying into her claim that talking about or asking a question about transgendered people is opening them up for violence.

This lady has a screw loose and will no doubt return to the safe space on campus and seek counseling after this blatant attack.
Gosh, I just hope they bring her back for a hearing on her actual "specialty" - race issues. Entertainment value!

A female can get pregnant, a male can't. It's what we've heard for tears, that GENDER is different than BIOLOGICAL SEX and GENDER IS A SOCIAL CONSTRUCT that a person simply has to identify into. Fine. But biological female and male are immutable (not counting abnormalities) so even those identifying into "non binary" are either biologically female or male. Use those words.

If a "pregnant trans-man" is a woman (female at birth) who:
1. Feels like a man
2. Wants to live as a man
3. Wants the world to view itself as a man
4. Prefers stereotypically male things over stereotypically female things....

then WHY would this person want to do the one, single-most WOMANLY thing, the most FEMALE thing that a female of ANY SPECIES does, which is bear offspring????

It's not mental illness, it's indoctrination. Both sides are becoming increasingly programmed to believe their viewpoint is the correct one and the other side is {choose one: stupid | deluded | ignorant | corrupt | mentally ill}. In reality, the human mind is a complicated place, nature is not black & white, and people are intolerant.
