Does this sound like any type of “insurrection”?

The “insurgents” don’t fire any weapon.

Now, we’ve got a sick grandma in jail because of the “insurrection”.

Meanwhile, when liberals were burning cities and committing violence and murder in the name of some degenerate named George Floyd, the vast majority got away with it and the few who got caught, were bailed out by the sitting Vice President.

Our country is already lost.

It’s admirable that we keep fighting, but we have to all realize that if we can’t prevent a 69 year old grandma with cancer from being locked up over walking into a building, and we can’t even keep thousands of violent felons locked up due to “racism”, the country is lost.
69 is the new 50. I’m 69 and and live in an over 55 community. We are very able to do damage if wanted to at our age. Boomers, although I don’t like their politics, are mean and resilient when want to be.

Here age and the fact that she is a grandma should have nothing to do with it.
What I would like to know is what exactly did she do. Just go in and mill around or did she destroy property, deface etc.
If her offenses were not major her health should have been considered (if known at the time) and maybe probation or house arrest would have been appropriate.
If she destroyed property or vandalized she should serve her sentence.

Assuming this is true at all.

This grandma and others have been arrested, held, leveraged and sentenced for political purposes. Not justice. Tresspassing is not worthy of the show of power and sentencing they are getting. They want to send a message that one dare not even think of doing something similar ie don't protest an election or support someone like Trump. Their treatment is a warning shot.

For some reason, this reminds me of a Trump remark at some rally: "They are coming after YOU."
And they will....eventually.

Her "crime"....Trespassing a Misdemeanor.

https://www.clayandbuck.com/despicab...6-trespassing/

Even if you say her illness doesn't give her permission to commit crimes...fair enough. But why does the time need to be served IN prison? Why not suspend that part of the sentence? What about House Arrest?

There are criminals that commit violent crimes that get a lighter sentence than she did.

I thought the left was all about compassion...Guess that only applies if you hold the corrected political philosophy.

On one hand the left has felt the justice system is rigged including the use of coercive plea bargaining yet they seem to have no problem with coerced plea deals with political statements for court with these defendants.

All because she was somewhere she shouldn't have been and was invited in by the dolts who were supposed to be guarding the snake pit and enforcing whatever rules it has.

And for those of you on this thread writing about how she was trying to take over the United States... you're stupid. That's all I have to say for you. You should be embarrassed to write such idiocy.

The most naive (intentional or otherwise) comment of the MONTH.

I'll *start* to *consider* the possibility that our justice system treats people equally as soon as Hunter Biden is arrested for the plethora of state and federal crimes for which we already have very convincing evidence.

Granny doesn’t have to pose a threat, she just has to follow the law.
