I agree with others on this post. Trump needs to clean house if he wins again. He failed to do this in 2016 and it hurt him. Trump the business man incorrectly thought that the holdovers from the Obama admin would be happy to keep their jobs and continue working for the company, in this case America.

Cleaning house would clear out the "leakers" and "whistleblowers" that the Dems calls heroes unless they are calling them out..

Any Republican would be doing the taxpayers a favor by reducing the Feds footprint that the Dems just keep adding to.

HEADS UP FELLOW REPUBLICANS:

If you haven't read this lengthy and in depth article by Jonathan Swan on Axios, you really really should. It goes much further than the article in the OP.

I don't think anyone truly yet understands how transformative the second Trump term is going to be. He's basically already put together a "Shadow Government". Hell, this very November he is sending 300 MAGA certified staffers to Congress to begin permeating the ranks and expunging (what's left of) the neocon poison from the Party.

He is intent on not making any of the same mistakes he made in terms of who he trusted the first go around.

I am telling you, not only is he running, but we are about to witness nothing less than the most successful populist America First Presidency in generations.

This time he's going to be ready, and he already has a massive machine built to take on the Left and the Deep State. (He's even got the Heritage Foundation becoming more MAGA.)

This is truly exciting stuff.

No more doomers. Trump will need us as much as America needs him, we need to stand united as Republicans behind Orange Man Rad.

And on top of all that, there are already rumors that Trump and DeSantis have made a deal for Desantis to be his VP, and then take over the legacy as President after Trump's final term.

No, I just believe in reading. Which you clearly did not do. (And ironically you're impugning the journalistic integity of a Leftist "journalist".)

But pithy one liners are not a substitute for critical thinking.

This won't be an issue because he won't win in 2024

Just like they told us in 2016. Trust the "experts".

No, it's not what President's do. This plan involves terminating civil service status for most upper level government personnel meaning they will become at will employees and can be fired for any reason- in this case because they haven't take the oath of fealty to Trumps bidding. This is an awful idea and will destabilize most of the routine functions carried out by the Government... If R's play this game, D's will too so every election will see tens of thousands of trained employees fired and replaced by new, young untrained sycophants. That will never benefit anyone no matter what their political affiliation is.

The only problem I see is people giving Trump credit for doing it.

He's all for it.

But his knowledge of how government works and who is doing what is limited.

Look behind the curtain.

Oh please. Cry me a river.

The Deep State works at the Democrats' behest and is already severely compromised as we have seen over the last several years. Our intelligence agencies and unaccountable officials went to War with Trump.

If Trump wins the vote (and right now he leads Biden in 7 out of 10 of the latest polls) - he has the right to put into place an infrastructure that will adhere to his will, rather than obstructing it.

And that doesn't even account for the fact that most of the Deep State didn't even exist until last century - nowhere in the Constitution was any of this called for.

It's SO secret, they know about the plans 3 years beforehand. LOL.

This reeks of a fake news, steaming pile of "journalism". More anonymous "sources".
