It is a pretty apt comparison if you ask me. Just like at Uvalde, climate deniers run around in circles and say its not their problem since climate change - whether anthropomorphic or not - doesn't exist. So the deniers keep on denying what's right in front of their and everyone else's eyes. Nothing positive gets accomplished and the situation only becomes worse and worse.
