There will never be a communist revolution in America.

Really? Thanks for the heads up. What brought that on? A slow day in fantasyland?

I think some people on here underestimate how right leaning America is compared to other Western countries.

Americans, by and large, have less trust in our governments than citizens in many other countries. It's just that the minority of people who are socialists are very vocal and narcissistic which makes them seem more numerous than they area.

Especially when the left own the majority of social and news media.

When anyone outside this new woke culture speaks, they are considered a Nazi.

Not going to happen.

No one confuses social welfare with communism in Nordic countries.
Nordic countries are still rooted mostly in capitalism as I understand it, the difference being is that they have a massive social spending program and have really high taxes to pay for it.

In terms of the OP, I like their confidence. I'm not so sure. The last 30 plus years they've been cranking out young people that view the world differently in many ways than older people do. They don't value the current system as much as others.

Time will tell I guess.

The old will pass on and the country will belong to the young. They can do with it what they wish. It is not up to the old to decide what economic system suits them or whether their government should be more or less involved in dealing with the issues of the times. The only covenant we have with the next generation is to pass along a democracy that sees the will of the people be done. Right now, the Republicans are doing their level best to violate that covenant, to mute the voices of the majority and force minority values upon the nation.

Most upset liberals are so passive aggressive that when they get upset, they whimper, cry, come up with a new bumper sticker and reach out to Maddox for solace. That’s about as far as it goes.

Not if they are paid to start trouble and random stacks of bricks are conveniently placed near the glassiest part of town for them...

I'm inclined to agree that it's rather unlikely that there will be a communist revolution in the United States as well , though the same applies to all other developed countries of the Occident as well IMHO .

Communism has really outplayed itself , in spite of the fact that Bernie Sanders style " socialism " has a bit of a following among certain segments of the populace , and its really doubtful if it will ever make a comeback .

That said the prospect of other types of potential danger , such as a gradual descent into complete social collapse , loom rather large making this prediction hardly cause for comfort I fear .
