Seems to me, every generation tends to view the world differently than prior generations.
Every generation does view the world differently.

What's happening now is the views they are adopting are foundational and fundamentally different. It is not things like, oh the kids these days are their rock n roll and pre marital sex and marijuana cigarettes or whatever mostly minor non-major differences.

There's viewing the world differently, then there's really viewing the world differently.

Not going to happen.

No one confuses social welfare with communism in Nordic countries.
uhm...

government control of production and ownership of the land....is socialism, which is not communism, socialism is communism-lite

and as to the social welfare in Nordic countries... we actually have more than them....3/4 (75%) of our budget is social safety net programs

Thee lulled the sheep to complacency with free money.... QE, high Stonk prices, welfare, rental moratoriums.... People were cheer leading their fake increases in net worth while they were gradually being put in chains by the ruling class....even now many want more of the drug. They dont want to deal with withdraw symptoms. Something for nothing! Me me me! I cans retirez early on my fake weakthz! Cryptos to ze moon! Everything for free! More QE please!

Everyone is guilty who was cheer leading this "recovery" ... Despite my stock gains I saw it for what it was early on and was very much against this excessive liquidity injection.

Jan 6, 2021 was the closest thing to a "working class uprising" that America will EVER experience, and nothing of note actually happened - all while the self described communists condemned such "vile attack on our democracy".

There will never be a communist revolution in America.
This revolution is creeping in US now, step-by-step.

One could say there has been an anti-socialist movement afoot since the Red Scare of 1919.

McCarthyism was just a mere episode, it still hasn't ended.
