Mississippi, the worst state in the nation, is on a roll! First, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health, now this!
Quote:
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch and 21 attorneys general filed a lawsuit on Tuesday challenging the Biden Administration’s new guidance on sex discrimination for schools and programs that receive federal nutrition assistance.
Worst state in the nation... that's all a matter of perspective. My votes for worst states would be California, New York, Illinois, and a few of the little pilot fish states around New York.
What part are they upset with or what are they in "violation" of? The article did not specify.
Confused as to how Mississippi would be in violation here without some context.
yeah, pretty bad when the "worst state" launches the lawsuit that overturns your precious made-up right after 5 years.
I'm guessing the other 21 AG's are also from really bad states, eh?
And your Dem-friendly article, which says:
Quote:
On May 5, 2022, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Food and Nutrition Services issued guidance to states applying the administration's novel reading of discrimination on the basis of sex discrimination into the Food and Nutrition Act.
Seems like most of the time, the USDA (that's Dept of Agriculture) is focused on, you know, Agriculture. Only the woke bureaucrats in the USDA - unless some other woke minion did it under their name - would say "if you participate in SNAP and free school lunches, you must accommodate transgenders! They get to go to whichever bathroom they choose and participate in whatever sports they want!"
Another troll post by a poster who does little other than troll about 4 or 5 subjects.
My headline would be, "More than Half The States Sue Biden Administration"
see, they tried "playing nice" - 27 of them ASKED the USDA to withdraw the guidance a month ago. Hearing crickets, then one filed suit and now there's 22. So, not "More than Half" yet, but closing in.

good on them. i wish them all the luck in the world.
Twenty-two states are suing the U.S. Department of Agriculture over its decision to interpret “sex” in Title IX to include “sexual orientation and gender identity.” As The Federalist previously reported, this interpretation would mean that schools could lose federal funds for lunch programs unless they allow boys in girls’ bathrooms.
