D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D) requested an indefinite activation of the D.C. National Guard on Thursday to respond to a migrant surge she labeled a "humanitarian crisis," a situation caused by Republican-led busing programs in Texas and Arizona that have sent thousands of migrants from the southern border to the nation's capital.
Bowser said she's asked the Secretary of the Army to activate the National Guard to deal with a "crisis that we expect to escalate."
Around 3,500 migrants have reportedly been bused into D.C. since April, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) first started offering state-funded bus rides to migrants released from federal custody near the Texas-Mexico border.
Nice little lie there-the situation is caused by the Biden Administration's failure to do a single thing to secure our border. Worse, to encourage the influx of foreign criminals to this nation. Huge thank you to Gov Abbott to making this disaster clear, even to those in DC. All other states should follow suit.

Well, I am sure the National Guard is only temporary.
When Beto wins Texas I am sure he will stop all the buses and offer to bring every person back to Texas. After all, according to the Progressives, that's what Texas wants...right?
It only becomes a problem when it hits home. But what about those Texas border towns that have been inundated? Nobody in power seems to care - only when it directly affects them.
Much of the time, it seems like any state outside the Northeast and DC are foreign countries to them.
