Democrats are leading in the tight midterm race with a 4% edge over the GOP on the generic congressional ballot, as voters rank abortion as a leading issue over inflation.

As someone who is ambivalent on abortion and think it should be legal under certain circumstances, I find it had to believe it could be much of a motivating factor.
Instead I suspect it is like most polls, manipulated to achieve a desired result.
