As a purely philosophical matter, I couldn't care less. As a practical matter, I am compelled to care a great deal because there are enough people out their who will engage in behavior(s) that they shouldn't. Because this is the case, it is necessarily untenable to place the fairer sex into positions — particularly in an intimate public environment — for which the likelihood of their victimization is clearly increased. That's not (or at least, shouldn't be) a political issue; it's called not being an A-hole.
Every home in the US - men and women share the same bathroom.
I saw on the news last night in Florida where you got this dumber than a box of rocks politician, Nikki Fried, running against Ron DeSantis for governor and this is the BS she is trying to use to allow unisex bathrooms. Sorry, it doesn't fly. There is a big difference from a private home and a public bathroom. And oh, I'm a single woman and don't share a bathroom with nobody, so there goes your theory. I also have relatives who have kids and they got their own private bathrooms and the parents have theirs, so there goes more of your theory.
Since according to RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), 15% of sexual assaults occur in a public place, with 10% occurring in enclosed public areas such as restrooms, it makes no sense to increase that risk by allowing biological males to use girls'/women's multiple occupancy restrooms, locker rooms, or showers whenever they want.

Bingo.
In addition men have been caught many times hiding cameras in women’’s bathrooms. I don’t think we should make that easier either.

Private residence bathroom used by family is not the same as public restrooms used by thousands.
You don’t seem to understand the difference. Or perhaps your bathroom is just as disgusting as public ones.
If you urinate on the floor, never flush, urinate on the seats, put pubic hairs everywhere, vandalize the walls, and blow your nose on the mirrors and walls, then sure, it’s the same.
At my workplace, they took the gender-specific signs off the men's and women's restrooms. They then installed a tampon dispenser in what was the men's bathroom, and while I have yet to go into the former female-only bathroom, I'd doubt that they installed urinals to make that one gender neutral. Hmmmmm . Where is the equity?

Can you imagine this person having to go into the men's room?
Heterosexual males need to mind their own business and stay out of the women's room and visa versa. Boundaries you know, respect them. The government needs to respect boundaries, as well. Their task is to manage the business of the country and yet, here we are.

The solution is to not make all bathroom unisex but rather to have a single room bathroom available in addition. If you go to Target they have a men’s room and a women’s room and a single family room. This is the solution that respects everyone. Anyone can use the family room by themselves without being uncomfortable and without making others uncomfortable.
