Monoclonal antibodies are not particularly effective against Omicron variants.

The professionals at Walter Reed know what they are doing.

I'll pass, thanks.
My doctor claimed the other antiviral drug is better but that the US doesn’t use it, it’s more used in the UK. Of course there were a few US studies claiming that other one wasn’t as effective but you can never trust that these things are legit

I'm hoping and wanting to agree with you. It will take more time and study to see if the treatment is no longer significantly helping the aged and high medical risks.

At this point, I could care less what happens to that piece of garbage and his entire staff and family.

Gonna be a busy week for the WH photographer with all those photo-op pictures of Biden "working" hard to be taken.

Yes and not to mention that with each new variant, a new vaccine has to be created which takes months. It comes out just about the time another new variant arrives. It's like playing whack-a-mole

If by the other antiviral drug you mean molnupiravir then nope, that drug isn’t effective either. It’s also a mutagenic drug which not only can encourage new variants but introduce a cancer causing mutation in your own genome.

Molnupiravir is not new, it’s been around for decades but never approved because it was found to cause cancer in hamsters. It was only for COVID under the cloak of EUA they could get approval because those studies were not needed under EUA less stringent guidelines.

Basically Big Pharma is using EUA legislation to rapidly approve failed drugs they couldn’t approve before.

You don’t need anything for COVID but rest* and fluids

* unless you have a fever of 100F or above moderate exercise actually sees one recover faster. People who rest take longer to recover.

It will take another RCT.

If one is done it won’t be soon enough to spare millions of people of taking a drug that will cause them to rebound when they didn’t need this drug at all.

People with rebound report their symptoms to be worse the 2nd time! This should be more of a scandal
