Could you imagine if the perp lost an eye to a bb from the charge? the perp's lawyer would own the store!
choose your shot size carefully depending on the location it will most likely be used.
just never, ever say you just fired to scare off the perps. You will be charged with felony assault. always say you intended to shoot the perp.
Remember when biden said to buy a shotgun and fire it in the air to scare away perps? great advice from a seasoned politician, lawyer senator and VP.....that would get you charged with felony assault. Be careful whose advice you take, no matter who.
Man, look at those robbers scramble! One screaming "He shot my arm off!" He was only grazed though. Let the video play, the other camera view is after several seconds. The police reported he was hospitalized later and the four were arrested. It was on the local Los Angeles news today. It happened in Norco, near Corona. It's an area in the inland valley East of Los Angeles. Check the comments on the video too.
It's so sad that another productive citizen has been injured. He will be less able to work with his arm being injured.

And just think, if this actually did happen in NYC, they would probably arrest, incarcerate and attempt to prosecute the store owner.
Obviously you wish to criminalize poverty.

Ol'timer did good, though. He was clocking those punk as soon as they parked.
The owner should have verified that it wasn't a toy gun and wasn't a joke.

The SUV used a handicap parking spot. It's obvious to me, we need to ban handicap parking spots so guns and SUVs will not use them to conduct armed robberies
.... and the storeowner using a "weapon of war" to defend himself using at "trench sweeper".
The car was actually stolen according to the police report on the news. Also interesting, the store owner was an older guy who owned that store since the 1970's. He suffered a slight heart attack after the event but he's OK according to the news report.
They always claim it's stolen. #1 scam for all hit and runs etc. Yet it's magically within the owners hands within minutes of it being stolen? No search for who stole it?
Good thing that didn't happen in DA Gascon's turf or that old dude would be screwed, blued and tattooed.
