Violent crime in these cities is mostly coming from blacks — both the victims and the criminals —in these cities blacks are higher than the normal 13% of population, and democrats REFUSE to address the black crime rate.
Dems tell us that Black Lives Matter, but then call you a racist if you try to address this tragic situation with blacks.
I think it’s racist NOT to address this.
I think it's all going to plan, for the Democratic "Slavery" Party.
The dems have achieved what they wanted, high black abortion rate, high rate of black single-mothers, high welfare rate, high black crime rate, high black incarceration rate, and as Biden said "if you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black.”
If the KKK in 1960s had wanted to orchestrate what the future for what many black families would look like, they could not have done a better job than what we have today. Oh wait a tic, the KKK was created by the Democratic Party. Funny how that worked out, or maybe it's just right on point.
Interesting. Although this is just one example, there could be others.
" Mayor Giuliani Cleaned Up New York City
Between 1993 To 2001, New York City Experienced A 66% Decline In Murders.
During The Same Time Period, There Was A 72% Decline In Shootings. New York City Experienced A 56% Decline In The FBI Crime Index Between 1993 And 2001, Far Outpacing 16% Decline In National Crime Index. "
While, it isn't just the result of Giuliani, it was a team effort. Him, his police commissioner, and a string of others that worked together to create policy to put a stop to crime.
Even when Bloomberg took over, they utilized and refined the policies set in place and NYC became an example of what a large city should be.
There was a nationwide decline in murders during the period you cited.
So yes some of Guiliani's policies helped but the other cities that saw a decline -- why would that be?
ALL 15 Mayors are Democrats. Dem prosecutors, Dem city councils, Dem schools...not a Republican leader in sight for decades, in most of them.
They ranked the deadliest 31 cities of population 200,000+, but I only looked at the top 15. Maybe somebody out there will review the next 16, to see if any are Pub-run.
It's mostly Dems killing Dems in Dem-controlled cities, but most are still Americans, & most are young, so it makes me
Why would anyone vote Dem in a big city, knowing these results? Come Nov, will they be able to discount the media propaganda, & vote Pub?
It is literally a life or death decision, & personal safety is a top voting issue. "What the heck do they have to lose"?
Love them or hate them, Guiliani & Keric turned NYC around on their watch...indisputable. Not every Pub succeeds, but nearly every Dem fails.
Are any of these cities regarded as such damned bad places to try to live in that they have to resort to bribing people with money to move there?

Lol, reading comprehension is key, i even underlined it.
Here it is again.

Give it some time. If the crime continues to escalate in these cities, people will leave.
A couple we know, lived in Manhattan, the last 4 or 5 years. They couldn't deal with the crime and violence anymore, and just returned to Michigan. There is no denying that crime and violence is escalating in our major cities, to do so is just being ignorant.
It's not just a political thing, it's a race thing, it's a culture thing, it's a lack of standards thing.
That said, while liberals on here are quick to blame red states for hosting these blue cities filled with crime, the Republican party(locally or nationally) aren't the ones in favor of these bail reform policies or installing soft-on-crime judges that are bringing these thugs back on the streets, continuing to wreck havoc.

That 16% number is meaningless in this argument; that's the decline in the national crime index. Large parts of the country didn't have high crime before 1993. So, since crime wouldn't decline much in these places, where there wasn't much crime to start with, the nation's overall crime rate wouldn't show such a dramatic decline as NYC.
Can anyone provide the statistics to show just how much crime is increasing, compared to where it was in 1993 or even 2001?
While I certainly believe there has been an uptick in crime over the last few years, I don't believe it's as catastrophic as republicans say it is. They need to provide more perspective (more years) than just the increase over the record lows of the last few years.

Fair enough, then the argument that crime dropped across the country at the same time, like another poster stated is also irrelevant.
Regardless, Guilani's, followed by Bloomberg's policies cleaned up NYC.
