The point is the voters decided. You don't have the Supreme Court ruling from on high with a ruling that cannot be questioned, acting like gods.
This is an emotionally and politically loaded issue. The American People at long last have been given back the power to decide how they want to deal with all things abortion. Sanity won out in the end.
exactly. both conservatives and liberals should agree that this is how our representative government is supposed to function. you don’t always get your way in a republic, and it’s okay.
All the melting down for nothing. The abortion thing will work itself out.
Kansas got it right. Let the people decide. The way it should be.
Unlike a state like NY that just does sh.t with no input from the people, or not caring about the will of the people, because you know, these politicians know what’s best.
Anyway, good for KS.
good for them..they are doing it the correct way... at the state level, by the people
Exactly. All these temper tantrums about how overturning Roe would "ban abortions" , women stupidly cosplaying in THT costumes and prancing around with bloody baby dolls, etc... and yet again, we see the left's overreaction histrionics were all WRONG.
The horror stories from states where abortion has been banned or nearly so surely made Kansas voters wake up to the need not to dare put Republicans in charge of banning abortion in Kansas and risk stories such as a 10 year old raped girl who couldn't get an abortion in her state or the woman who had to carry around a dead fetus. I'm afraid there may be even worse horror stories to come.

Many GOP leaders threatening to go after birth control and then the story about the raped pregnant 10 yr old make this election cycle far harder on GOP than it was going to be.
The first thing people with terminal degrees and trained as scientists or physicians do when presented with a Journal article do is look at where it was published.
Then you look at the authors academic affiliation and like to see Stanford,DUKE , Cleveland clinic ,Scripps ,MD Anderson etc.
No, they look at the studies cited in the article and look at the studies' authors' academic affiliations and like to see Stanford, DUKE, Cleveland Clinic, Scripps, MD Anderson etc.
I said when Roe was reversed that this would hurt the far right that despises personal freedom. We are already seeing it. The vote was not even close in Kansas of all places.
