Probably because people want us to become like Denmark.

At least that's the way it should work unless statist Democrats get too powerful.

That's why people risk their lives to come to America. No one is risking their life to go to "Scandinavia."
Not at all

Over 3,000 migrants died at sea on their way to Europe in 2021, says UN agency

Denmark has strict immigration policies and their location is quite fortunate, meaning far away from the Mediterranean.

Not to mention the effect of living in a relatively UV-less country. Heavily confounded by many things, but SAD is definitely a thing. Yes, even if you're white as a ghost with ice-blue eyes.

So quitting jobs and switching when sad in Denmark doesn’t mean needing a 9 months rainy day fund

Now I feel sad we don’t have it as good as the Danes. They also get to work only like 30 hours per week and they get paid to stay home with their kid? It sounds incredible
It’s because they have a population that’s six times smaller than the State of Texas.

Bingo.

Every Scandinavian country, and most European countries are 90% white with strict immigration laws (developed homogenous societies). Not even an American could immigrate there without specialized skills and a sponsored visa.

This means less money fighting anti-assimilation, crime, “oppression,†woke, protests, looting, riots, “inequality,†racist highways, racist statues, racist food deserts, etc.

So they’re comparing apples to oranges.

Their saving rate is quite high.
But it is not fair to compare USA wages with Denmark.
When I was in UK,back then US MCD has a deal for $3.75 (burger, fry and apple turnover),UK is GP 3.75 and back then it comes to over US$5.00

You wanna save money.dont eat at McDonald, once I had a fish sandwich,it tastes like I am eating a piece of cardboard coated with mayonaisse and thats $3.75.
I looked around and see what others are eating-a tiny beefburger, coke, fries and apple turnover, it is the carbos which make them feel full, not healthy.

They don't. I pay US taxes (quite a bit, I might add) and wish I had more to show for them, but that's of course my choice. I like California, so...

Anyway, Denmark doesn't care.
