Something Snaps In The Job Market: Multiple Jobholders Hit All Time High As Unexplained 1.8 Million Jobs Gap Emerges
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/so...ned-18-million

According to Zerohedge:

"So what's going on here? The simple answer: Fewer people working, but more people working more than one job ... In other words, while the labor market is already cracking, it will take the BLS several months of veering away from reality before the government bureaucrats accept and admit what is truly taking place.

We expect that "realization" to take place just after the midterms, because the last thing the Biden administration can afford is admit the labor market is crashing in addition to the continued surge in inflation."

I don't know, might not take that long to realize what is going on, I don't think this charade is going to save the Democrats in the November elections

This administration needs to be terminated. How much damage is acceptable before they are to be replaced? 2024 can’t get here soon enough. Nor will it.

I thought the methods used by the US BLS to calculate employment, was able to factor in and exclude people who were working more than one job, so it would not inflate the numbers.

This is a very disturbing graph:

A post pandemic drop of .7% is hardly the end of the world. The only problem we have is excessive QE, liquidity, and general corruption and incompetence among leadership. Just a small problem.

People either have a job or they don't have a job. People do not vote based on statistics, people will vote based on their actual job status.

Normally a recession is indicated by unemployment, which we have not seen so far but it might be a lagging indicator this time rather than leading indicator. I personally think unemployment will start to tic up in the last have of the year but it won't be dramatic mass layoff situations.
