If trickle down doesn't work... what works?
Well the Democrats have a trickle down theory also……..
…….ever increasing taxes and spending make your earnings that you get to keep trickle down to nothing.

"I should know, I own one". Good for you, and as long as you are paying your fair share, you are to be congratulated. However, those who do not pay their fair share, should be taxed to the point it hurts.

Trickle UP works like a charm!

The DC Swamp raises taxes on businesses in the future, who will just pass along the added tax costs to consumers (which fuels inflation), by raising their retail prices.

The DC Swamp pockets all the money today ($433B in this bills' case), & none trickles down to the 99%.

If Trickle UP didn't work, they'd stop doing it. It has proven to be 100% effective...& both sides do it, but Libs are in control right now, so they get to keep the loot...this time.

Nothing ever trickled down. Pour a drink over ice. See it all trickle down. Now put in a straw, and see how easy it is to suck it all back up again. It doesn't stay trickled down very long -- not even until pay-day.

The Democrat party Senators (except Bernie) disagree with you, & they are voting to keep allowing millionaires & billionaires to use a very lucrative tax-dodging loophole called "carried interest" in their new $433b spending bill. You can read all about it right here:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/san...pholes-wealthy

What do you think about that? Are you okay with the Dems allowing this tax loophole to continue?

On the other hand the Democrats keep throwing benefits, money, college educations, healthcare, etc. on our less fortunate and all it does is hold the poverty line and get votes. They have no desire to help Americans have a better life, rather just a dependency on them.

It doesn't and it hasn't for a long, long time.

In fact, the only time anyone digs up what started life as "Reaganomics" is to present a straw man argument for the purpose of drawing attention away from the current economic malaise.

Poverty has many different causes with a great deal of overlap between them.

The connections between generational poverty and Democrat policy are many.

And while policies of the now-irrelevant corporate ***** wing of the Republican Party probably don't help much, they don't reward failure and don't encourage continued failure the way Democrat policies do.

Anyone can develop marketable skills and improve their situation if they really want to, so the focus should be on the concrete actions of individuals instead of abstract political theories from the 1980s.

How many poor people hire workers?

How many of you work for someone who started the company and became successful? Thats classic triple down - one starts a company, hires more and more people and gives raises.

That same owner takes their profits and buys new equipment, remodels the office, pays benefits including matching 401k - thats trickle down. You people have no idea how trickle down works even though you receiving the benefits right now.

the dc swamp hates the people they are supposed to serve and have proven it with the expansion of the irs. you would think that both liberals and conservatives would agree this is a bad thing for the American people, but here we are

I have lived around lower middle-class and below all my life.

Most of these people stay in their poor positions in life due to bad choices they make.....little to nothing to do with the evil, hoarding rich or lack of true trickle-down economics.
