No other country like this, just imagine the reaction if this was a proposal in Europe. This country has gone half crazy.

Youre being generous. Looks more like at least 60% to me.

What's crazy is how blind to the actual problem those on the left are, with the root cause of the threat. You can't fix a murderous evil person with a kumbaya community activist armed with a sociology degree. You can't legislate evil to stop. It's already illegal to murder.

To stop a bad guy from doing bad things you must do bad things. FACT

In order to harden facilities, people MUST first follow basic protocols like lottamoxie outlined... it's real basic stuff. Teachers who fail to follow basic safety protocols should be held accountable. No different then when Law Enforcement fails to execute their oath .

Harden facilities, follow protocols, resource officers on site... some simple basic stuff.

The root cause of the threat is that an 18 year old can go and buy an automatic weapon and take it into a school and mow people down. THAT is the root cause. Everything else you have outlined here is a result of the fact that we are not getting to the root cause--that an 18 year old, or anyone else for that matter, can easily, without any difficulty whatsoever, purchase a weapon meant for the expressed purpose of producing mass causalities in a short amount of time, and people like you see nothing wrong with that.

There's your root cause.

Automatic weapons are NEVER used. What they mostly use are common semi-auto hunting rifles. But most mass shootings are actually done with handguns in the inner city. Learn before you post.

Young teenagers have easy access to an AR-15 and the solution is to have a lock box with AR-15's at schools, not to prevent access to the AR-15.

Mass shootings are like a crazy wheel of fortune, after each event the solution always comes up more guns.

Do you understand how crazy we seem to other countries.

No that is not the root cause and you're blind to that fact. Evil, unstable families, secular values, demonizing what's good, promoting chaos, defunding police, the absence of God, on and on ... that's the root problem. If weapons were the root cause then everyone would be the PROBLEM, but they're not. 99.9999% of AR owners are law abiding people.

There are 20,000,000 AR's in this country and how many are used in the commission of a crime? Of all crimes committed with a firearm, only 2% are all rifles. There are almost 400,000,000 firearms... so do the math.

You are wrong in every sense of the word. Completely wrong and you'll never admit it or understand the problem. Your position is ideologically blind.

You are aware that we are not a Country in Europe and it really doesn't matter what other countries think of us...Right?

I mean if we were other Countries we would probably be more concerned over our Borders.

Oh, and you want to know how we are seen by other Countries? Even with the "Adults" back in the White House when Biden headed to Saudi Arabia to ask for more oil, they basically told him to go pound sand. Yea, that's some respect. And that response had nothing to do with our gun policy.

You mean the Country that had more than a couple of world wars? Ya, Europe. Where everyone wants to join NATO where we bail them out.
