He discusses threats to Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh, and Constitutional Amendments - specifically in the days of Woodrow Wilson where he surmised the Constitution stood in the way of governmental powers. It was amended 4 times in 8 years during that period.
If there is one moment that symbolized our degeneration, it was when an enraged mob gathered in front of the Supreme Court and a leader of the United States Senate shouted threats against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, saying "You won't know what hit you!"
There have always been irresponsible demagogues. But there was once a time when anyone who shouted threats to a Supreme Court Justice would see the end of his own political career, and could not show his face in decent society again.
for the record, Trump can be/usually is an irresponsible demagogue against his opponents as well. Still, it's not like he did it before people like Schumer & Pelosi.

Maybe if people could stop being drama queens and use words judiciously, then it might have some impact. Otherwise, it's no different than the last election. Sometimes you get a good president, sometimes you get a crappy one - but the foundation in the Constitution are far stronger than one man or woman.

We started down the path on no return in 2016 but Trump saved us. In 2020 the Dems really had to get clever with the manipulation of the vote counting to install their man and look at how quickly everything has fallen apart. We were soaring with Trump and the World was a safer place and 18 months later look at the mess.
The Democrats are a real danger to America from their out of control spending to their inaction at the Border to their crooked take on the Criminal Justice system where there is no justice for the victims of crime and the future victims at the hands of someone that should have been locked up.
Freedom is NOT Free and far too many these days take it for granted. Americans as a whole are allowed to pass the blame and get away with so much, just ask Britney Grinner how she feels about the Freedom America gives. I wonder if she ever gets back to America if she will go on protesting it?
The thing with Freedom is once it is gone it is never coming back.
