Obstruction of an official proceeding of congress, Conspiracy to Defraudi the United States, Seditious Conspiracy, and Wire Fraud to name just a few very serious crimes
They were issued a court order to respond by the 15th. Garland responded.
Trump might not like the results of unsealing the warrant and making it public, because it will spell out the laws that he possibly broke for the world to see that were used to justify the request for a warrant.

If this is all a witch hunt and Donald has nothing to hide, he certainly would have no issues with the DOJ releasing information about what they found in his basement safe......right, Trump supporters?
It'll be just like his tax returns where he'll makes up excuses for years why he can't release them.
This is pure abuse of power by the democrats to make sure Trump does not run again. Some people keep mentioning the FBI is headed by the guy Trump put there. That doesn't mean anything. The democrats are in power. That guy either goes along or be forced to resign.
It was Janet Reno who said, "the power to prosecute is the power to destroy." That statement applies to this case very well. Just the mere fact that his home was raided by the FBI is enough to tarnish his reputation whether or not anything will come out of this.
Just when I thought the democrats couldn't sink any lower, they employed this abhorrent abuse of power.
Trump stole documents from the White House that do not belong to him and refused to give them back to the National Archives. So the FBI got a warrant to retrieve those documents from Trump's home. Simple to understand.
Garland taking the step of unsealing the warrant is a power play on his part. It will show the country exactly what Trump wants to try to hide. The fact that Trump has been so silent says he does not want this information to get out.
Point, Garland.
How do you know Trump isn't just letting Garland hoist himself with his own petard? Garland has already agreed to fall on his sword by admitting he's the one who OKed the raid.
Trump will release the warrant like he will release his taxes anything incriminating about himself he will cover up.
