Is he giving this info to Putin? Xi? Kim? Has Trump been compromised by foreign intel? This looks bad.
Again, there are very few items POTUS doesn't have the full authority to declassify as he wishes, and as we all know because I've been repeatedly posting Trump's December 2020 tweet, Trump said he is/was in the process of declassifying "everything" at that time.

As to the supposed SCI documents... No one can remove such a document from a SCIF. NO ONE. That allegation is likely to be false.

Well it's true a copy could be made of any document in a person's possession, by anyone who had access to the document(s).

And it's also true seizing documents doesn't guarantee there aren't copies of any of the documents seized.

Maybe this is one of those impossible situations where there are no acceptable actions to take, and every path is suboptimal.

Either he thought he could use it as a hostage/bargaining chip to forgive some of his misdeeds while in office or perhaps he thought he could sell/trade it to a foreign power to get out of the debt he appears to be headed for. Either way, it makes him a traitor to the United States.

About the only other explanation I can think of of is he was just too stupid to know any better. As amoral and and ignorant I think he may be, I don't really think he would be THAT stupid.
Who said that? Another anonymous source?

In the end, who cares?

"Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. "

Nothing to see, the precedence has been set.....

Sorry anti-trumpers, you've been shammed again, congrats.

Wall Street Journal also reporting that Trump had top secret files, including files that should only be viewed in a SCIF.

It's not an allegation at this point, just information from "sources". But if the docs are real, as impossible to steal as you san, yet Trump had them in his basement, then there are more people involved in this probable act of treason than just Trump.

Declassified?

I mean heck, if a non-elected person can do it, why not an elected president?
