Completely true.

It doesn't make sense though. He could have just photocopied everything and returned the originals and no one would be the wiser, if they were telling the truth.

It seems very clear that his supports have no problem with very sensitive documents, some rated at the highest level of TS/SCI, being stored in an unsecure facility. Their blind loyalty to Donald Trump has shown that they don't give a damn about our national security. And again this is the party of "law and order".

WTF is wrong with you people?
Nothing is sacred to them, not even national security. They only care that their idol got away with something.

Precisely my thought when I read that post. Failing to comply with the original subpoena should trigger...... another subpoena? Why would the DOJ think he'd comply with that one? That argument is completely illogical.

I don't think he knows how to run a copy machine.

He would have to have a staffer do it. Let's see whose fingerprints turn up on these documents.

Yep, they have gone from:

1. They found nothing (stamped out with release of receipt on Friday)
2. It was planted (stamped out by Trump saying he declassified the document they found)
3. It was all declassified by Trump

Trump isn't know to follow processes, I'd sure hate to be betting a defense on him being able to prove he declassified something.

Their lack of concern over our national security can not be stressed enough. Some were classified at the highest rating, they do not belong in a closet at a private home as anyone who is thinking straight should understand. But they don't care about our national security, that has been made perfectly clear and it's very disturbing.

I can't wait for Donald J. Trump to just go away so we can get our country and it's values back.

This actually the most important question of all. WTF is wrong with the citizens of this country, who are so easily manipulated by a con-man like Donald Trump that they are willing to overlook the fact that he stole the crown jewels of our nation's defense from our White House? And then stored them for years in boxes at his personal residence, where there is every chance they were divulged in one way or another to our nation's enemies?

Is it stupidity? Blind loyalty? Stubbornness?

Regardless of the reasons, if Trump or a Trump clone gets re-elected or otherwise rises to power in 2024, we are done here as a free nation. It's been a good run, but we are finished.

Trump doesn't think he has to obey the law. He thinks he's special. His supporters agree. He can do whatever he wants and no one can tell him otherwise.

Except Merrick Garland.

Also - if these documents were all declassified before he left the WH, why was that not his initial response to the subpoena earlier this year? Why did he return some of the documents earlier?

That argument makes no sense.
