Tell that to James Comey who admitted to leaking classified material to a New York Times reporter. Nothing happened to him as a result, and I would insist that the crime of actually transferring classified material to uncleared people is a far greater violation than the possession of classified material by someone who does possess the required clearance to view such material.
Exactly. Comey also kept government records at his home in his own personal safe.
There is nothing where the archivist says he found the missing docs, that the archivist had long ago said had gone missing. That same archivist said documents were missing during Obama and Trump, was he lying? According to you, it would seem so.
Research it and get back to us. What I posted is what was said yesterday and is up to date.
Since NARA is the only entity that ever had custody of the documents, they should know. Obama never had them in his possession.
Documents/materials kept in a SCIF don't work that way. They are viewed in the SCIF and do not leave the SCIF. Don't you remember when Congress had to go into the Capitol's basement to view documents in a SCIF?
No. In the WH, the SCIFs, including the Situation Room, are in the basement.
Trump did return boxes and boxes of documents. He's been negotiating with NARA and cooperating all along. This raid was completely unnecessary. It will all come out, just like the FBI repeatedly lying on affidavits to get FISA warrants eventually came out.
Yes he did return documents, just not all of them, even after having had months to do so. This is on him.
You can keep talking about FISA warrants all you want. But in this instance there were real boxes with real evidence with real top secret documents in them. Not sure if anything will come out of any of this, but you can't argue with the truth. Or maybe you can, who knows? LOL.
Ask Trump's AG. Bill Barr. He declined to prosecute.
