for the raid to be justified, the warrant and the explanation must clearly reveal (a) that there was an urgent need to obtain evidence that pertained to a serious crime, (b) that this evidence could not possibly have been obtained by other means, or on another occasion, or without a surprise visit, and (c) that, if the target was not named Donald Trump, a similar operation would have been launched.
Take off your blinders. What the Biden and the DOJ did was dumb in an election year and to a future political opponent for 2024.

The reality of our laws will trump paranoid conspiracy theories any day of the week. The notion that there was some fantastical collusion between the DOJ and the FBI and a Federal judge to execute this search warrant is simply ludicrous. There is zero doubt that affidavit showed probable cause for a judge to issue the warrant.

Y'all know, in terms of sheer dollars and numbers of countries involved and length of time the corruption went on, the Trump kids and Jared are like a hundred Hunters, right?
If Trump committed a crime, then he should be held responsible.
If any Democrat or Republican commits a crime they should be held responsible.
No one is above the law.
If there’s no proof of a crime it is wrong for the FBI to go into Crazee Cat Lady’s home to try to find proof of a crime. Do you understand?

I am not suggesting anything. I am saying that Trump is being harassed because he is. The current search warrant is using the Presidential Records Act as the probable cause, thus giving the political police permission to simply take any printed or electronic documentation in Trump's possession. How did we get to that particular crime? Because "insurrection" wasn't really going anywhere, so let's eff with him another way. And instead of doing the subpoena thing, which gets yawns out of the masses and doesn't get nearly the ratings that "FBI raid!!" does, the Gestapo decided to kick in some doors and break some windows.
And oh by the way, as an added bonus, the "probable cause" that he violated the PRA gives them access to any and all Trump private stuff, thus maybe a window into "discovering" another crime, maybe, hopefully, etc.
I am saying that evidence gathering should pursuant to an ongoing investigation, which up until the other day, was Jan 6. But yeah, that accusation was meh and kinda limping along, but there's got to be a way to keep this guy under investigation, and we already tried taxes, emoluments, porn stars and sedition/insurrection...so hmmm...wonder what we can use next? Oh I know, let's use something that gives us an excuse to seize every scrap of paperwork, printed or electronic, we can get our grubbies on, and then maybe we can find another charge somewhere in there.
