Yeah, you keep telling yourself that.

The records belong to the federal government. At the end of term, the president has to transfer them to the archives. So yes, they were stolen.

Affidavit says this:

"Probable cause exists to believe that evidence, contraband, fruits of crime, or other items illegally possessed in violation will be found at the premises"

What the FBI found:

Love the “fruits of crime”…

So STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION…

And Trump was just saying they (the govt) should have just asked for what they wanted—-
Well, Don, they did—over 22 months of back and forth trying to get the info you stole….and wouldn’t return apparently so they had to come get it…

He is such a snowflake…

Well at least they released it and didn't ask for a 75 year waiting period

We on CD likely cannot but we aren’t the ones doing the analysis of what happened AFTER Trump stole those documents and was pawing through them in his pjs…

That is what the NSA and multiple govt agencies are going to be spending lot of time, effort, and money (our tax money) to discover….
They are going to be in discussion with other govt security/intel agencies so see what they might know about the use of that information

THIS is an ongoing investigation—it has not stopped just because they think they have ALL the documents
Knowing Trump’s history it is likely there are a few pieces of intel that are still out there—
That Trump might have passed along to those he wanted to influence—

There is no profit in trying to educate those who glory in their ignorance….

Well, we don't know what the FBI found, yet, but we now know what NARA found in the first 15 boxes, and it ain't good for your boy:

...A preliminary triage of the documents with classification markings revealed the following approximate numbers: 184 unique documents bearing classification markings, including 67 documents marked as CONFIDENTIAL, 92 documents marked as SECRET, and 25 documents marked as TOP SECRET. Further, the FBI agents observed markings reflecting the following compartments/dissemination controls: HCS, FISA, ORCON, NOFORN, and SI...
  • ORCON =“originator control”
  • NOFORN = “no foreign nationals” (should see these documents)
  • HCS = HUMINT (human intelligence) Control System.
  • SI = COMINT (communication intelligence, or intercepts) Special Intelligence

You have nothing to say about the affidavit? Have you read it? Are you waiting on CNN, MSNBC, etc., to tell you what to think about it?
I did read it. I have nothing to say about it here because I don't think there's anything new to say... it's been clear, to me, all along that law enforcement acted appropriately (if unusually) to protect the interests of the United States.

That Silverman Thompson letter to DOJ (near the end) is a real piece of work. Trump lawyers telling DOJ how to conduct their business and explaining the law to DOJ. Actually, they are making excuses why The Donald is innocent. Such chutzpah!
