This isn't a run of the mill, one of dozens of warrants you get every day, it is a highly charged, sensitive warrant that deserved the highest level of scrutiny available. That they did not take it to a federal district judge is highly unusual given the gravity.
We still don't know who the judge was? I know there is lots of speculation and assumptions but do we know yet.
And yes -- this was a very sensitive warrant and a warrant that was not takein into consideration lightly for sure.
DOJ and FBI now have to show why this kind of warrant was justified.
I want to defund the FBI in DC, but after interviewing each and every one first. I'd also want to interview all the field bosses across the USA to test their commitment to law, and not partisan politics.
We don't know what's in that warrant, what crime(s) were alleged, what specifically they were seeking or any of the actual details.
Lots of speculation and assumptions abound, but actual facts are in short supply, other than a search warrant was prepared by the FBI, that search warrant was signed by a federal magistrate/judge, and the search warrant was executed on a specific property owned by the former prez in FL.
It appears de-funding the current FBI would go a long way in re-establishing law and order in the nation.
The FBI appears to be a secret police force used by the democrats to punish political enemies and innocent citizens.

When a Republican lawmaker introduces a bill to defund the FBI, I will take notice. Just like I did when Democrat lawmakers introduced a bill to defund the police.
This is what it has now come to. The FBI, the chief domestic intelligence and security service of the US, is now facing calls from many Republicans to defund it. Such a move would severely hurt the ability of the bureau to protect the nation and further put Americans in danger. This however is what many Republicans are now calling for. It is anything BUT law and order.
