However, I balk at just labeling this extremism.
I mean, if the Pope said "Loyal catholics, we need to kill Mathguy and the bounty is 3 million" and they do it, is that extremist or frankly just a mainstream action that is severe in nature?
Was this some niche extremist segment? Nope. This was legal and done in accordance with the law. This was 100% mainstream there. Let's all let that settle in.
Agreed. It's lslam-those acts are what is demonstrated by Muhammad. The murder of "infidels", forced subjugation of non-followers, the slaughter of "blasphemers", let alone the subjugation of women and sexual abuse of children. And we allow and some embrace it in this country.

I was watching MSNBC report this. They no kidding, with a straight face, stated the following, “ They arrested Rushdie’s assailant but the motive is unclear.”
I mean, other than his social media ties to the IRGC and Shia Militias, plus his sympathy for Gen Soleimani, the motive is unclear, right?
More proof that NO ONE an NO PLACE in America is safe from Islamic violence. Chautauqua is a tiny little village in rural Western NY, far from any major metro area. The savagery and violence embraced and promoted by the Islamic religion and religious leaders is a threat to everyone. 1% of the population, but one of the largest sources of violent domestic terrorism.

Let's be honest, members of the West have been assassinating Iranian scientist and military leaders f or years now. We can't play this "I can kill you, but you can't retaliate game," just because we believe our acts are somehow righteous. That's not how the world works.
