I bet a lot of the residents vote Democrat, so they get what they deserve.

As far as I've heard NY is already hemorrhaging high income earners. Many of them are relocating outside of NY.

That is happening here in CA to some degree, although it's more middle class people.

All for the same reasons, soft on crime and far left policies. Hopefully the pendulum swings back toward a more moderate position soon.

All of these social engineering experiments are really just garbage, how long does it take people to see this stuff and start literally throwing these politicians out on their asses??

There is a saying.... the stock market can stay irrational longer than you can stay solvent.

Same thing applies here.

Okay, I bite!........ what's a sex den? Is that the new terminology for a House, a brothel?

Or are they trying to make it something disgusting and illegal for a place where consenting adults meet to play?

There is a gay adult bookstore/theater in that neighborhood. But also male/female crystal meth users. For anyone that does not know crystal meth increases sexual appetite. The nasty is being done in just about any cubby hole along the streets. They are breaking into basements of apt buildings.

Well, that's a curious new kid on the block to me.......but it is not surprising and actually, gives me some hope for the human race......not much, mind you.

In my relentless search for a boytoy, a prospective told me that everyone was a meth head. Sigh, heck, darn....but I just took that as the whole population was generally going down the tubes.

It may be something of a leap but it does contribute to explaining the unsuitability of players I come across in my searches. No one can host, no one is willing to meet in public over coffee, everyone wants it right now, they don't even accept when I say I am willing to pay for a hotel room. I think that last is petty darn good offer.....but now I understand a little better of no one taking it.

Increase the appetite and decrease the intelligence....which we already knew.

Maybe they will connect the dots and become sane at some point, but that is unlikely. Democrats have an uncanny inability to understand how thier political views destroy communities and make them more dangerous and less livable .

Agree. My brother and his wife are big time Dem supporters. They live in a wealthy area of LA which is now seeing an increase in robberies and assault. You reap what you sow.

These democrats are blind to the fact their policy choices cause these problems. Just go on reddit and listen to them talk. Their expanded welfare state causes worker and housing shortages, their lax on crime policies are causing spikes in crime. They don't understand pavlonian conditioning at all. My fear is they are causing all this disorder so they can institute their fix, a CCP type surveillance system designed to track everyone, criminals and the law abiding. They will swing from one extreme to another in time, that's my fear... but at least we have state's right here. There's only so much authoritarianism they can dish out at the national level unlike other countries. Their hands are tied by our system of checks and balances, for now.

Let their blue cities turn into sewers. Just don't move to red areas and continue the same problem. Sioux Falls is starting to see some of the benefits "diversity" brings with it, namely increases in crime. Thanks, democrats. That is one reason to oppose marijuana legalization when I actually think about it... it brings in more democrats.... but I'm not an alcohol drinker.. I'd rather use marijuana. Choices, choices...

"....We have people going around the block for the past three years taking drugs, having sex in the basements, breaking in, different type of intrusions," Chloe, a resident and mother, told Fox 5. "Basically, we feel like the area is not safe for our kids."

"And the villainy no longer has a legal limit, the police chief said, sharing an example of a female suspect his department arrested with 151 previous arrests."

"Laurie, a bartender and resident of the area for 44 years, told the outlet she would be unable to get into her own home after working all night because of drug users sitting on her doorstep."

Hey, if you don't love gritty, don't live in the city.
