This was not a big deal but DeSantis couldn’t help himself, he should be devoting his time to the teacher shortage.
Insurance and toxic waste. Homelessness and shortage of county and state workers. He’s too busy in Utah looking for books to ban while the suits against him pile up. Sounds like a mini Trump

What are you talking about with DeSantis? It was a judge who ruled that felons must fulfill all legal obligations related to their sentence before they can vote. That makes perfect sense. Explain what is not fair about that?

You should find some balance in the news you follow on DeSantis. He has done a lot of good for the state like greatly increasing school funding and teacher salaries. Remaking the testing for students and how schools are evaluated. For the most part he did an awesome job during covid. Compare him to some high profile democrats and DeSsntis darn near reaches hero status. I didn’t agree with everything he did (should have let local governments have more say) but by comparison, he was great. He also is defending young kids from lgbt groomers. No way should teachers be talking to young kids convincing them they should try being the opposite sex. So harmful.

Will disagree in every point with 4 grands in school and one DIL as a teacher with a masters degree in Dade county. People died with his lax on covid. He has caused turmoil in many school districts threatening taking funding away for masks. You must not have any skin in the game to say he did a great job. Go bootlick - your right to do so.
I watch his mouth vs what he signs into law. See the courts now talking about his unconstitutional moves. He will trip over his own foot soon enough.

I'm not excusing these votes or saying they should be counted. But... just like... have a system for this stuff, man.
Florida doesn't have a database to track data court fines and fees owed by released felons that have to be paid before restoration. Basically it's up to the person looking to have their rights restored to work with the state. Florida extends this repayment of fees to driver licenses as well.

Florida does have a method to ask for clemency regarding the payment of court fees and restitution. But IIRC, Florida makes it extra hard to do so. One must appear in Tallahassee in front of the clemency board for a hearing. The board meets 3 DAYS A YEAR making it almost impossible for it do hear all the applications.

This line of thinking is the reason our country is thirty trillion dollars in debt. "Oh, it is just one hundred million dollars they want to spend. It is not like it is a billion..."

The rule of law should not be beneath anyone, just as every penny of taxpayer money should be scrutinized.
Its critical to have consequences. Voter fraud is a form of sedition. Lock 'em up!!!!

Twenty fraud votes is not going to throw an election. He is just grandstanding.

He didn’t stop anyone from wearing masks, and since we’ve been told masks work, those wearing them should have nothing to worry about.

Nah, he’s a lock for Governor and POTUS if he chooses to run. We have skin in the game 5-7 months a year and have friends with children in schools. He’s extremely refreshing, hence he’s so popular…and nobody is forcing anyone to stay in the state if they don’t like how it’s run. Huge amounts of folks are moving their everyday so population loss is no concern.
