What matters is they kick conservatives asses all day long. Conservatives appear to think some superior moral value is going to carry them through while socialists have none and make them look like fools. Socialists don’t play according to rules they will do whatever it takes to win and make sure the drones believe they are right. Hats off to the socialists..

Hip Hip, Hooray! for Socialism!

C'mon now. Conservatives have been beating the tar out of progressives over the past 30 years. The GOP has been winning elections at the state and national level with a major disadvantage in popular votes. That happens precisely because of the superior coordination efforts (and corporate campaign contributions) backing conservative causes. Conservatives are just getting salty now because American's flatly reject abortion restrictions and Trumpism.

McConnell did have magical power over the Senate. He was able to say what would and would not be on the Senate calendar. He didn't schedule hearings for Garland, blocking him, and he did schedule hearings on Amy Coney Barrett, which he didn't have to do given the short time left in his tenure.

It was no mean feat holding together the Republicans to get Kavanaugh confirmed. McConnell had to horse trade and cajole to keep Collins on the reservation. McConnell's accomplishment of getting three solid conservatives on the court instead of Souter or Kennedy types was monumental. Partial credit has to go to Harry Reid for his removal of the filibuster for confirmations. If the Democrats don't pack the court, the conservative majority will be solid for 15-20 years and continue to make crucial corrections to past courts excesses and to halt the worst of Democrat's expansion of executive power.

There's some truth here. I'll never forget how mad Becky (Obama) became when he realized that Merrick "Judy" Garland was not going to have a hearing.

All in all, still, I am not a fan of Mitch McConnell or his wife. DS/Establishment at its finest, both.

I remember when being unable to spell potato was a good enough reason for someone to not be elected.

Socialism definition: a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

Not by a long shot.

The cries of "socialism" are ridiculous. As are claims that the Democrats have gone far left. The Democrats were drug to the right with the Clintons and largely abandoned their support of unions and the like. It's what created the void for Trump to exploit.

The only way they are "far left" now would be in social issues if you consider them the opposite of the "religious right". But that has nothing to do with left/right. That is the authoritarian/libertarian axis.

And I hope each one of those three confirmations caused him a lot of heartburn.

The turtle is worried that House seats are going to be filled by Trump-Republicans who will replace the RINOs like him. Time for turtle-boy to retire and enjoy some vacations to China with is wife.
