The US/Biden administration has no ambassador to Italy yet moans they're going fascist.

If he wants to give it to Pelosi nominate her and start the process. Probably fears a power vacuum once Pelosi leaves the house.

In the meantime Biden says Italy's election results a threat to Democracy. Uh oh more that don't think like him

So anyone who voices support for NORMAL behavior is now a threat to democracy...on a global scale no less.
I thought Ukraine was the pinnacle of a "democracy" and that's why we're funding a war there.

So when do we invade Italy ?

It has taken the Biden administration a long time to put many Ambassadors in place.

For instance the UK's new Ambassador Jane D. Hartley only arrived in August 2022.

The US has a different system to most countries, with the US giving Ambassador positions as a reward for loyalty or raising campaign funds.

Whereas many other countries choose Ambassadors from senior civil servants from their equivalent of the State Department, and as such Ambassadors are supposed to be impartial in terms of politics, and do not need replacing if an election sees another political party come in to office.

"Biden Cites Italy Election In Warning On Democracy"

Italians voted en mass to elect the conservative right to power.
I believe that's called "Democracy".

Sorry left-wingers, just because people don't want to vote for left-wing globalists, that doesn't mean they are against Democracy.

^ Don’t you know? According to the Left, democracy is always threatened when the other side gets elected or protests instead of them.

Ambassadors must be approved by the Senate. There's over 60 nominees awaiting approving. Ted Cruz has been holding up a lot of these.

I guess it doesn't really matter, as the US state department Chargé d'Affaires are usually more knowledgeable than the appointed Ambassadors.

As for Cruz, that whole dreadful beard thing, makes him look like some sort of Mexican bandit, he just needs a sombrero to finish off the look.
