I don’t care what the medical experts say, as a man getting a vasectomy it will affect your performance in many cases. There are subsets of many hormones, some even unknown at this point that secretes through and Vasectomy affects those subsets of hormones even though your testosterone usually remains unaffected. I know lots of dudes who have gotten vasectomies in their ability to perform was never the same. No thanks.
I don't think this is virtue signaling. I think it's insurance against unwanted parenthood. Some men definitively do not want to become fathers, and I do not think less of them because of it.
As draconian forced-birth laws are passed across the country, women who don't want to get pregnant will seek out men who have gotten vasectomies because they will be "safe" partners to have sex with. Birth control can fail, and with the fundamentalists threatening to even restrict that access, women increasingly won't want to take the chance.
Your so-called "beta males" are going to be getting more action soon than you.
Seems to me, if they are having unprotected sex they certainly are taking chances. Doesn't anyone worry about STD's anymore ?

Condoms can fail. Unintended pregnancies can still happen with them. Especially for women who live in deep red states with strong forced-birth laws, it's not worth the risk.
Well it seems that not only females are getting either their tubes tied and or a hysterectomy because of Roe v Wade. But a large number of, as I like to call them, (Beta Boys) are getting there daddy marble (vasectomy) clipped. In an attempt of virtue signaling to the girls in support. Lol
I'm no medical specialist but for those who are here's a question.
What are the percentages of fathering a child if you have the vasectomy reversed, let's say after 5 years?
Frankly as far as I'm concerned birth control or (Abstinence) would be much cheaper. And even after the Beta Boys get the pistol turned into a blank shooters , it won't save them (either side) from STD's.
I was watching one of my favorite podcast ladies, "Brett Cooper " today and this was the topic. And I almost fell out my seat laughing at how desperate these Beta Boys are today.
So.....let the comments roll in. Lol
So are the alpha males the baby daddies complaining about child support payments?

What does your reply have to do with my question ? So, these women and men don't want to take a chance with birth control, but are willing to roll the dice on STD's. Seems pretty irresponsible all around to me.

I'm with you there.
