She repeatedly mentions the BidenAdmin has worked hard to bring down the deficits $1.7T. She said the Republicans allowed to deficits to rise $2T without having a way to pay for it.
We had the COVID nonsense for two years where government spending was up astronomically trying to solve all of the problems (and failed), while at the same time the government locked everything down and the economy was trashed, along with the incoming tax revenues. So deficits obviously rose greatly.
Now we are trying to get back to normal. People are working more - tax revenues are slowly returning to pre-pandemic norms. Government spending is down since COVID is no longer to major focus. So the deficits are naturally returning to normal levels.
So the hard work of the BidenAdmin that she touts - is the return to normalcy. They really didn't have to do any hard work. They just needed to get out of the way.

Exactly. It’s extremely intellectually dishonest. If it were up to republicans we wouldn’t have shut down at all. They can’t demand everything be shut down, claiming republicans are killing people by not, then take credit when they’re in power and reopen. The deficit should have come down a lot more than it did but they kept a lot of the spending in place and added new spending even in the light of massive waste, fraud, abuse and historic inflation.
I didn't go to college and now must pay for someone else's education. School taxes are bad enough.
But But the Dems are telling us that with all of us paying off the debt of others that we will all benefit? What did Granny Warren say? That now millions of people will be able to move out of their parents house to buy their own home, start a business, get married Blah Blah Blah. She is really dense if she thinks $10,000 is going to do all of that or she is starting to believe her own Lies.
You are right about the school taxes. I don't have kids but I am still required to pay into the school budget that is always going up.
Of course in the perfect Liberal Utopia we would all be paying for everyone to go to college. We already pay for K-12 with some areas also paying for Preschool. There has been talk in DC about making the first 2 years of college Free as well.

The benefit is self-evident. Millions of unemployed and underemployed, emotionally fragile young adults with a degree in gender studies, professing their undying obedience and fealty to a reality-averse worldview, and clamoring for the ever-out-of-reach "utopia" to be effectuated by force of the government gun. Thing is, when he hits 3 magic check boxes with one empty sack, he's free to hire some actual competent people that don't check the boxes-if necessary. Sadly, he can't even do that! This administration has to have the most bumbling idiots in history, it's like a really bad clown show.
