For the record, I got a fair number of swats on the ass. I'm still alive and the swats effectively communicated the lesson being taught.
If you're boss forced you to identify yourself sexually in front of all your coworkers would you LOL or file a discrimination lawsuit? Pretty sure you’d do the latter as forcing coworkers to declare their sexuality has no place in the workplace or at schools.

Exactly. I learned my lesson quickly. I respected the principal in my school and my father. They only had to do this one time!

It's basically an opinion and it should be up to the parents. Spanking is a universal language. No one is saying to abuse a kid. We are saying that there's nothing at all wrong with justified spanking and likely the kid won't need to be spanked more than once or twice.
I'm sorry, no child should ever be spanked by an adult.
This. When an adult is assaulted they can go to the police and report it as a crime. But children can be assaulted and that is supposed to be okay. Why?
