And by shear luck or coincidence ev won't need a charge until 9pm instead of 4.. Or those who work graveyard will have enough of a charge from 9-11pm. to make it to work. Got it.

I've never experienced power restrictions in the South. The only time gas availability has been an issue is as a result of a hurricane/severe storms, and that is short-lived. I learned many years ago to rotate 15-20 gallons of fuel storage for generator use in addition to maintaining propane storage. Owning gas and propane generators is key to maintaining cold food storage during a power outage.

The electric bills in NY are nothing compared to Ca, when I stayed in SD my friend would shut the tv off on me saying she didn't want a high electric bill. How do you live like that? I was glad to come home to NY. Just wait until you can't charge your EV because it's too expensive!

That's weird. I lived in California during the Enron era of rolling blackouts, and I never felt so pinched that I could not turn on the TV.

What is wrong with these Bozos that fail to use common sense and act accordingly?
If it weren't for them ruining the country, they'd be quite entertaining. Everyday they do something even more laughable or dumber.

In fact two people I stayed with were warning me about not using too much electricity, one was a top realtor and another one was a supervisor at an aerospace company, so they weren't poor by any means.

Yes, that's what I meant. And so Californians can simply stew in their own juices now.

CA moving everything to electric and they already have a problem with electricity load.

This does not bode well for CA.
