We live in a time when the people who most loudly preach kindness and tolerance are the meanest and most bigoted people of all. Their vicious and ugly approach to the subject can only be a cover for the bigotry they have within them. It reminds me of when the most firebrand preachers who condemned gays in the strongest terms ended up having a teenaged boyfriend. Unacknowledged self hate drives people to that type of behavior.
It is kind of funny how the Lefties are welcoming in everyone from South of the Border but I guess they are a bunch of NIMBY's because they get offended and outraged if "those" people get too close.
I hate to break it to Liberals but many of "those" people are GASP! Christian! I know "How Dare You"... They also have a real sense of machismo, which is strong or aggressive masculine pride.
I used to live and work in a Brazilian community and the men were men and the women knew their place. Good luck changing that Liberals.
