No. It would be futile in the US.

The teachers unions don’t give a damn about the kids. They demanded the schools be shuttered claiming their lives were at risk. While Timmy down the street bagged groceries for $12 an hour dealing with the general public and didn’t complain even though he could have been paid to sit home. Education in this country has failed we can save it, regionally at least, by decentralizing and returning all education decisions back to the localities. The local governments know their students needs best and have more experience with what actually works and what doesn’t in their area.

Yup but be happy the consolation prize is they'll know terms like masking, misinformation, efficacy, "science", mandates and censorship.

Goes to show you how incompetent some of these teachers are, and how the continued dumbing down of our education system isn't working out. Remember, it was teacher's unions who pushed for remote learning during COVID and insisted they shouldn't return to the classroom. Big thank you to democrat governors who shut down their states, teacher's unions and Dr. Mengele-Fauci.

the pro-shutdown crowd would like us to forget how hysterical they were a couple short years ago.

Let me ask you a different question. If you were Debbie back in 2020, what would you have done differently? The same?

No wonder why. Some teachers died after catching covid.

I remember very well as I lived in Miami. Us opening was painted as the “next Wuhan.” At one point the media was suggesting travel restrictions for Floridians to the rest of the USA!

People did seem interested though. No matter which state I went, people wanted to know how Florida was doing!

Once again, it's a matter of FACT that some of the state leaders who led shutdowns were Republicans.

There is no evidence they caught COVID in school. I remember the news story for the Florida teachers but they caught it and died over the summer break.

Tbh, I still don’t understand how anyone dies from a virus I never even had one symptom from (if I even caught it)! It’s crazy to think about!
