Thought this was just an interesting read in societal and pop-culture changes towards drinking. Its just becoming "not cool" to drink, especially for Gen Z.

Then it's not a pub. It's a juice bar or coffee shop.

I should have been born Gen Z.

But I bet two generations later, it will be edgy again. These things go in circles.

What about non alcoholic beer? Plus Pubs are a british/irish thing. In Great Britain, pubs always have classic british food like Lancashire hotpot.

Personally, I like going to some pubs for wings and bar food and would prefer a water over beer if it was socially acceptable. However I did murder my liver from 21-35, so my body rejects having beer anymore.

If this is true, it's a rather good development. I rarely drink anymore (special occasions). Alcohol, other than highly refined sugars, is a main culprit in weight gain, fatty livers, and many cancers.

But, if they're replacing alcohol with other drugs then it's not necessarily a win, and also I see young people drinking like crazy (I have a place in Miami Beach) so I'm not sure how correct it is.

Maybe they're saving money and drinking at home?

That's a UK article. And it says they've replaced booze with ketamine.

So, there's that.
