Russia won't immediately resume exports of natural gas to Europe through its Nord Stream 1 pipeline, worsening a shortage that threatens to tip the continent into an energy crisis this winter.
On Friday, Russian state energy giant Gazprom said it would not resume flows through the pipeline on Saturday as planned because it had detected an oil leak at its Portovaya compressor station. The pipeline has been shut since Wednesday for maintenance.
It didn't give a timeline of when exports might resume.
Angela Merkel should have taken Trump's advice... Is there anything Trump has been wrong about??? He has really shown what a bunch of novices our "elites" really are. Unless their goal is to obliterate the western world of course.
My only real thoughts on this is, if it a matter of a leak and more serious than they are letting on, resulting in an inability to deliver or if it is just head games? Either way it isn't good for Europe.
It’s going to be a tough Winter (Biden’s Dark Winter) for everyone.
Supply and demand. Biden has reduced our Supply, promised what he won’t be able to deliver to Europe.
Prices go way up for everybody. Our LNG supply for export has been cut in half due to the Plant in Freeport and the ROA regulations that have slowed it going back to production ….. and that is only one of the issues.

It's pretty simple just pay In Rubles. In other words the real price doesn't even matter now.
Germany has a history of doing stupid stuff like this.
Funding Russian communists in an effort to get Russia out of WWI. No unintended consequences there.
The Zimmermann Telegram. No unintended consequences there.
Now it's funding Russian aggression with energy purchases while at the same time being the lead country in Europe tasked to fight that aggression via NATO. All the while the US is pouring billions into NATO to fight Russia.
The Germans are nothing if not consistently wrong and short-sighted.
