Is a 12-hours-old baby, with no motor skills, no language skills, can't see, walk or feed him or herself ... the same as an obese 84-year-old with diabetes, who on dialysis, with one leg amputated and a double mastectomy from breast cancer?

Are those two humans the same?

You claimed the following,“ “Most of us don’t accept that an abortion, at least in the first trimester is taking a human life” which is a completely different thing than saying most people support the right to an abortion in the first trimester.

I support abortion rights in the first trimester but fully understand that it is the taking of a human life because that is the reality of what an abortion is. Pretending otherwise is just that, make believe.

They would likely agree that a fertilized egg is a human life at the earliest stage. What the heck does reading a magazine on the bus have to do with being a human being?

VA hospitals do not perform abortions. Because they are used for medical care for vets. They aren't convenience abortion clinics.
No they aren't convenience abortion clinics, but it looks

They are going to perform abortions now, when it is needed by Veterans or their families.

If you are confused then don't bother responding. It's a conversation with a different poster. Sorry you feel left out?

What do you think about the VA being allowed to perform medically necessary abortions? Or abortions for raped girls and women?

They are and both of them reached fetal viability and had a live birth. Its where most of us draw the line.

I answered that in another post. I support the VA providing medically necessary abortions.
