"Facebook has been spying on the private messages and data of American users and reporting them to the FBI if they express anti-government or anti-authority sentiments — or question the 2020 election — according to sources within the Department of Justice.

Under the FBI collaboration operation, somebody at Facebook red-flagged these supposedly subversive private messages over the past 19 months and transmitted them in redacted form to the domestic terrorism operational unit at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC, without a subpoena."

It's really time to reign in social media companies and remove all the protections they have.

Why would anyone assume they have privacy on social media??? All that stuff is logged, recorded and can be kept forever as far as I understand. And Biden already gave his Hitler speech dictating the "correct" side you are supposed to be on, or else. How many more signs do you people need to see to figure out what you have become?

the only elections that should be illegal to question are when republicans lose. perhaps we need a constitutional amendment. we all know no one votes republican anymore unless you are a racist insurrectionist who wants to overthrow the government. we need to start jailing anyone with a conservative viewpoint because it is danger. dangerous for covid information, dangerous for marginalized communities, dangerous for democracy (which apparently dies in darkness i am told)

Facebook and Twitter both should be eradicated. Both are weaponized tools of the far left.

And continues to this day. Thus be it ever.

Anyone who uses social media in any form, or for that matter the internet, is constantly the target of data mining, and it isn’t going to stop. All you can do is accept it and roll on.

Of course they did. Don’t mistake Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, Twitter etc. for a private companies. They have to be destroyed by legislation or cast out from our midst by a separation of the states.

Imagine that. Something thrown out into the great world wide web was not private? Who thought that was ever possible?

Russia used the web very effectively in 2016...right down to the household, street by street, town by town, to ensure that they got the proper propaganda into the minds of voters who had already expressed a predisposition to be right wing. How did they know how to pinpoint? Because they follow every move we all make on the net. To whom do we "speak", what do we post. Where do we order. What sites do we frequent. It is all out there for the picking, and people who are savvy use that data to influence us throughout ever moment of our lives.

Surprise, surprise. If you post anything electronically, through any site, it is PUBLIC info.

Getting tired of Leftists excusing bad behavior because it's legal. A lot of stuff is legal that the Left decries as unacceptable.

Where do your morals come from? How do you determine right from wrong? Is it just a question of what helps or hurts you ideologically? That's what it seems like, and it fits with the whole Leftist "there is no truth but power" concept.

Man up and stand by whatever principles you hold, even if it's inconvenient. How strong you adhere to your principles is what defines you and right now, you look like an undefined blob.
