Do you think that toddler is strong enough to pull back the frame if it is a semi auto to put a bullet in the barrel?
If the gun is not a very small one, I doubt a toddle can even pick it up, much less push the safety on and pull the trigger.
Had guns in my house as long as I had kids from when they were babies.
They were TAUGHT NOT TO TOUCH things, from decorations on the tables, to bleach bottles to guns, etc.
Toddler, nieces & nephews coming over. It takes literally one second to open the safe box with my fingerprint. You think that one second is going to make a difference in a home invasion?
Also, my nightstand gun is a SW 642 Jframe hammerless revolver (wife) or a Glock (me)and it’s loaded at all times.

On another note, I really like the idea of a biometric lock box. I currently have a bedside combination lock box with four finger buttons in recesses that can be opened in the dark. But it's still slow. What would you recommend in a biometric for one or two standard size guns?
