She's just saying that because she knows California has safe storage laws.

It's a CYA statement. When the facts come out, it could be interesting.

Usually if you defend yourself before an accusation is given, you are probably guilty.

Do you think that toddler is strong enough to pull back the frame if it is a semi auto to put a bullet in the barrel?

If the gun is not a very small one, I doubt a toddle can even pick it up, much less push the safety on and pull the trigger.

Had guns in my house as long as I had kids from when they were babies.

They were TAUGHT NOT TO TOUCH things, from decorations on the tables, to bleach bottles to guns, etc.
Toddler, nieces & nephews coming over. It takes literally one second to open the safe box with my fingerprint. You think that one second is going to make a difference in a home invasion?

Also, my nightstand gun is a SW 642 Jframe hammerless revolver (wife) or a Glock (me)and it’s loaded at all times.

I have 19 guns in my home, but I don’t take chances with my kid or nephews/nieces

well as of right now....#1 she is running on an anti-self defense platform, so hypocrisy. #2 - from all reports there is no evidence she obtained said weapons legally. In fact, there is no record she did the proper permitting. #3 her positions are ALSO defund the police

there is more here we are not being told....large amounts of cash and jewelry were lying around and not touched. so this is .... curious

This woman is the same nutter that went to Cuba way back in the day. Even the LA Times questioned it.

She's kind of like a more masculine version of Obama (I realize that's not much of a stretch) with her political beliefs. CA truly deserves the turds that have floated in the political toilet.

What "proper permitting" is this?

Where did you get that there were "large amounts of cash and jewelry"?

"Pull back the frame", huh? I wouldn't be pretending to be a gun expert if I were you...

He said a lot of incorrect stuff actually.

On another note, I really like the idea of a biometric lock box. I currently have a bedside combination lock box with four finger buttons in recesses that can be opened in the dark. But it's still slow. What would you recommend in a biometric for one or two standard size guns?
