Millions of Social Security recipients could see the biggest cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) in four decades, amid rising inflation.

Exactly how much more Social Security recipients, disabled veterans and federal retirees will receive in 2023 will be revealed in the fall.

But the nonpartisan Senior Citizens League, an advocacy group, recently estimated that the 2023 COLA could be 10.5 percent.

And that is a lagging number...based on past data.

Last year it was 5.x% which we can now see was but the tip of the iceberg called inflation.

If groceries had not gone up 25% on many items and the price of gas doubled................. No way for the Dems to dig themselves out of the whole they are sitting in with Biden at this point.

If Biden keeps up the spending he's doing and wants to do, they'll need a 50% raise before the year's out.

We've got to supplement those EVs by tax credits though. I really don't like to pay for someone else's automobile.

That doesn't even come close to catching up to the inflation rate. All of us suckers have been paying into this system all our lives. Now we can't help but to make it our business and do whatever we can to get back even a fraction of what we've paid in. But just think of what we all could have been making on it now if all that money had been put into a legitimate investment for all those years.

The Democrats will of course take full credit for any increase patting themselves on the back for putting more money into the wallets of seniors. While amazingly totally ignoring the actual reason why this would be the biggest increase in 40 years.

That's impossible, there's no inflation. (Biden administration 2021)

Just like there's no recession. (Biden administration 2022)

I wouldn't worry about it. The Chinese will be running things by then anyway.
