That clinic says they provide abortions on request up to 32 weeks. All of this is still true:

So banning abortions would keep people like Kermit Gosnell from performing them? When I was a teen abortions were illegal but women still got them. Wealthy girls went to a legit doctor who performed the abortion and wrote down that it was a D&C, poor girls had their boy friends hit and kick them in the abdomen until they aborted, or they went to a lay person who claimed they knew how to do abortions, sometimes resulting in death, or such a bad case of septicemia that the girl would end up having a hysterectomy.
People who want an abortion will get one no matter what the law says. It's just that the poor will suffer the consequences and the wealthy will become magically unpregnant and carry on with their lives like nothing happened. By the way, read Lindsey's bill - all the states who completely ban abortions with no exceptions will not have to change a thing. This is just for those awful blue states who have enough faith in women and their physicians that they don't feel the need to control them.
I seriously doubt many women wait and then abort that late into their pregnancy. Something drastic has happened that a woman would want to abort a healthy pregnancy that late. No one would put themselves thru that trauma and expense when they could abort cheaply in the first trimester.

Yes, husband's aunt had a "change of life" pregnancy and her doctor wrote that a pregnancy would endanger her life. Therapeutic abortion it was called then. Same doctor who delivered her two daughters, plus one worked for him as a nurse. "Connected"??? That will certainly horrify some people.
Also in Catholic HS there some girls who left school for a while for an "emergency". We all knew what that emergency was for. Parents who had $$$. Hush, hush.

LTA are mostly done in the 20th week. That isn’t 8.5 months along. How many are done that late on healthy babies? Anti choice love their grisly abortion fantasy of women by the thousands aborting at 8/9 months. It doesn’t happen. Women getting LTA are getting them at the twenty week mark for legitimate reasons. The medical reasons are not the public or the government’s business.

I don’t deny what both gosnell and the pregnant women didn’t happen. Same for a woman late in her pregnancy that wants to abort way past reasonable time. That said, the majority of the 1 percent of LTA are done for legitimate reasons. The few women who don’t, in no way lessen the legitimate needs of the others. Again a woman’s pregnancy is her business not the public nor the government.
