To be honest, there is a butt-load of NIMBYism among blue state liberals.
As I said, the federal government should have already been dispersing them to other states.
If that was already going on--as you claimed--then Abbott and DeSantis should have been openly discussing increasing the federal effort...which makes what they did definitely political stunt, pretending there had been no federal action at all.
They already have been doing exactly that but were criticized.
