So, who exactly are the "MAGA Republicans"? Can we get some names here?

MAGA Republicans are almost all NeoCons who support Trump. Some seek his endorsement, others fear to cross him, but they all dutifully line up behind him.

The rest are QAnon whacko fringe lunatic cultists who BTW when pressed are also ok with traditional NeoCon values and goals.

None of these people want to admit that they are NeoCons, because that group has developed such a poor reputation. So they do the MAGA MAGA MAGA thing and pretend that they are not NeoCons.

There also are some traditional Republicans around who have not fallen under the Trump spell, also NeoCons ... but the MAGAs call them RINOs.

I actually enjoy being considered a Deplorable. LOL, and wasn't it Biden that said there'd be NO Name Calling on his watch?

I can't stand Hillary, but she didn't say that all Trump supporters are deplorables (the 'basket of deplorables'), she said half.

It seems to me that some people are equating Qanon conspiracy theorists with MAGA Republicans.

So, how many Qanon conspiracy theorists are there in positions of political power now? What are their names so we can look them up?

So, can anybody say who exactly is a MAGA Republican?
Donald Trump is an example of a MAGA Republican. Exhibit A:

He is also an example of a madman. The defeated and disgraced former POTUS is a deeply troubled psychopath. And let us not forget, Trump is also the de facto leader of the Republican Party in America.

I recently returned from visiting a daughter who lives in Germany with her career military husband, who is stationed there. I also have friends who are native German citizens and had an opportunity to spend some time with them. They are stunned at what is happening in the U.S. All they could say, "Have your people learned nothing from our own stained history?"

This should scare us. Especially those that claim to be Christian. These Patriot boards are ramping up their promotion of this savior and leader. At first I was drawn out of curiosity as to why some sound minded friends fell into this but this is becoming a disturbing revelation. Take a look at this....

This is all over the news and not hard to find.
the QAnon's and anyone else who in any way amplifies Trump as the possible religious savior (Christ, God or whomever) are absolute nuts.

But, from the NYT article, for example:

Quote:
A chief tenet of the movement, which has gradually spread from the fringes of the far right closer to the center of the Republican Party, is that Mr. Trump will ultimately be returned to power.
To say it has "gradually spread ...closer to the center" is complete hogwash. Show us the party officials who believe that claptrap about a "redone election or declaring him the winner" is going to occur.

or this:
Quote:
Those complaints were followed by series of other false claims.

Mr. Trump said that “free speech is no longer allowed” in the United States, a country, he went on to claim, “where crime is rampant like never before, where the economy has been collapsing.”
one can quibble over the freedom of our speech* and the state of the economy, but it is completely true that crime is rampant like never before.

*Among the few good things Pelley said to Biden "It used to be in Congress they'd say 'I think you have a bad idea'. Now they're all saying 'I think you're a bad or evil person.' How do we overcome that?"

I don't see anything recently, but MTG gave a mea culpa after the 2020 election, and Boebert has never been accused of BEING a Q, just sidling up with them. and she also spoke out in 2021.

and neither one of them has introduced a Bill or has any significant committee assignments (of course, MTG has no assignments)

But again, anybody that believes in that crap is a nut. And while all Q's would theoretically be "MAGA" (whatever that actually is), not all MAGA's would be Q's.

How do you know they own firearms? So you think anyone that owns a firearm is a MAGA?

Better google what a neocon is - they hate him and he would have done much better in office if they HAD supported him.

I'm a MAGA Democrat by the way - hate me....
